Grouped by what families usually ask us, in roughly the order they ask it.

About the puppies

How big will my puppy get?

Each litter page includes an estimated adult weight range based on the size of the parents, their genetics and what we have seen in previous litters. This gives families a good idea of what to expect, but adult size cannot be predicted perfectly. Some puppies may mature slightly above or below the estimated range.

Do they shed?

Our puppies are expected to have low to non shedding coats. We use genetic testing to help select parent dogs that are most likely to produce the lowest shedding puppies possible. This is especially helpful for families with shedding or allergy concerns. While every dog is different, we do a very good job matching families with puppies that are most likely to have the coat traits they are looking for. Regular brushing and professional grooming will also help keep their coats healthy and manageable.

Health & Guarantee

Do you offer a health warranty?

Yes. Every puppy comes with a two year health guarantee. We carefully health test our parent dogs and take every step we can to produce healthy puppies with the best possible start in life. Full details are included in our puppy contract.

Temperament & Training

Can they be a service dog?

Many of our doodles have the intelligence, trainability and people focused temperament that can make them strong candidates for service work. Our puppies are first and foremost raised to be loving family dogs, but we can also help identify puppies that may be a good fit for specific service needs. At seven weeks old, we can complete temperament testing to better evaluate each puppy’s confidence, focus, sensitivity and overall personality.

What sort of training will my puppy have?

Our puppies are raised in our homes using the BAB curriculum. They receive daily handling, early socialization, confidence building activities and exposure to common household sights, sounds and experiences. We also take them on car rides and introduce them to public places such as stores so they can begin experiencing the world in a safe and positive way. Basic manners, crate familiarity and early potty training concepts are also introduced to help make the transition into their new homes easier.

Transportation

Do you offer puppy delivery?

Yes! We can personally deliver your puppy or arrange for a trusted flight nanny to bring them to most locations. Puppies travel safely in the airplane cabin with their flight nanny and are never shipped in cargo. Delivery costs vary based on the destination and travel arrangements. Contact us for availability and a personalized quote.

Grooming

How often do I have to groom them?

Most of our doodles need professional grooming about eight weeks. At home, we recommend brushing to prevent tangles and matting, especially around the ears, legs, tail and collar area. Puppies with curlier or thicker coats may need more frequent brushing. Regular nail trims, ear cleaning and bathing as needed will also help keep them comfortable and healthy.

Deposit

How does the deposit work?

A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve your place on a litter. The deposit is applied toward the total price of your puppy and your selection order is based on when the deposit is received. Deposits may be moved to a future litter if needed, subject to the terms in our puppy contract.
